    IMPORTANT SCHOOL FOOD SERVICE UPDATE: Food shortages are nationwide, and our school district is also experiencing unavailable items or last minute food replacements from our food distributors.  Menus are subject to change, but we will do our best to post menu changes as soon as we get them.  We appreciate your patience and understanding! We look forward to serving all of our students nutritious meals.

    REMINDERS: GMR school doors don’t open until 7:50 AM, mornings are getting cooler so if kids are dropped off make sure they are dressed for the morning weather if they come before 7:50 AM when doors open - Students riding on the buses (Routes & Activities) must wear a mask while riding (Federally Mandated) - Students that leave or come during a school day need to CHECK OUT or CHECK IN with the office

    Math League Meeting on Wednesday, September 22nd during Homeroom. This is for any returning members and any new members that would like to join in grades 9-12. Come learn what Math League is about and how the season will unfold this year!!! - Coach Kern

    Greenbush Area Community Fund - Grants Available - applications due by Oct. 8th & awarded Nov 1st - for questions call Mary Stauffenecker 782-4231 or Lisa Wiklund 528-3303 - there are some applications by the GMR principal's office. 

    Nursing assistant classes are starting Sept. 27, in-person or on-line. There is more information at the office bulletin board. People who are 15 or older are eligible for the classes.

    Juniors: If you would like to be a page in the Minnesota House of Representatives for a week in February - mid-May, there is information by the office door.

    LifeCare Public Health will be offering COVID vaccinations for students at the Greenbush/Middle River School on Monday, September 20th from 1:00-2:30 pm. This is for the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine.  Eligible recipients must be 12 years or older.  This is a 2 dose series and the 2nd dose will be given on Monday, October 11th from 1-2:30 at the school.

    Parent/guardian signature is required if the student is under 18 years of age. Sign up forms will be sent home with eligible 6th graders & 7th through 12th grade students may get a form from outside the high school office. Forms are due into the office by Wednesday, September 15th.  If you have questions you may call  Roseau County Public Health at 218-463-3211.

    Those students grades 7-12 who are interested in traveling to Washington D.C. and New York City as part of the GMR Close-Up Program there will be an informational meeting on Friday September 17th during homeroom in Mr. Christian's room.  If interested in Close-Up this is an important meeting.

    *All softball players' pants/belt must be turned in by September 24th or you will be billed.

    *Aven and Brandon please turn in basketball playbook by next week or you will be billed.

    Elementary students' families received letters about a new program to take free snacks home for the weekend. Please contact your child's teacher or the office if you're interested in participating.
