Gator Knowledge Bowl

Knowledge Bowl is a series of interdisciplinary academic competitions designed for students in grade 7-12.  During the competitions, teams of four or five students compete in written and oral rounds by answering questions related to all areas of learning typical of secondary educational programs.  Questions test students’ recall, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

Sr. High teams compete at an average of 6 meets a year.  Meets are held once a week during the school day in Thief River Falls, Crookston, or Bemidji on Wednesdays or Thursdays in January and February.  Teams also compete at a sub-regional competition with the chance to advance to regional and state competitions.

Middle School teams compete at an average of 6 meets a year.  Meets are held in schools in our surrounding area and scheduled after school from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm.
