GO GATORS!!!!!

WELCOME HOME FOR THE GATOR WRESTLERS!!

They will arrive between 3:30-4:00 p.m.

Gator BBB team, you did a great job representing BGMR last night!  Thanks to all the fans for showing great sportsmanship and respect.

Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held next Wednesday, March 4th, from 3:30-7:30 p.m. and again on Monday, March 9th, 3:30-7:30 p.m.  

Be sure to check out the Gator – Team 5172 Robotics website: www.5172gators.org.  A blog with updates is included and will be updated during competition on February 26th – 28th.

On Monday, March 2…we will be celebrating Dr. Suess's birthday so we will be having green eggs and ham for breakfast!

The NHS blood drive is scheduled for Tuesday, March 3rd!  If you are 16 and older, you can donate.  Please sign up with Mrs. Gust.  Thank you.

The library is closed today to set up for Book Fair.

NOTICE TO BGMR SPORTS FANS…For the most up-to-date schedule of sporting events check out the Gator Athletic Schedules on the GMR School website.  You can also sign up to be notified of any sport changes.  

The Sports Trainer will be here on Tuesday’s.   Sign up in the office if you need to see her.  We will post the schedule on the bulletin board and give you a pass on Tuesday morning.  “YOU” will be responsible for checking your time and coming to your appt.

DINNER THEATRE SEASON IS HERE!!!!!!!!!
The Dinner Theatre will be held April 9th, 10th and 11th.  Please sign up on the sheet posted on the bulletin board outside the office if you are interested in performing in the Dinner Theatre plays or serving on the Tech Crew.  Casting will be done by this signup sheet!  Please sign up by Monday, March 2nd by 3:00.

SENIORS:
The Honker is asking all seniors to send a graduation photo for a senior full page.  Please email to super33@wiktel.com. Thank you.

ROBOTICS:
There will be a robotics demonstration on March 4th at 5:45 and 6:45 in the gymnasium at the Greenbush site.  This is open to all community members.

MUSIC:  
Tuesday during 1st Homeroom – Pops Choir
Thursday during 1st Homeroom - Jazz Band

KNOWLEDGE BOWL:
KB practices will be held on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s in the library from 3:15-5:00.

Knowledge Bowl Varsity team will leave at 7:30 from GB and 7:50 from MR on Monday, March 2 for the Sub-Regionals in Crookston. 
 
SPORTS:
You can still sign up for Clay Target League by signing up online at the MNClayTarget.com.  You must sign up by March 1st.  You also need to pay your $30.00 fee – make checks to BGMR Clay Busters.

Wrestlers & Wrestling Managers:  We will be having our end of the year wrestling party on March 3rd.  We will be going to TRF to the Water Park and Pizza Hut. We will be leaving GB at 3:30 and MR at 4:00.  Badger wrestlers please ride the shuttle over to catch the bus. We will return about 10:00 p.m. This should be a great way to end the year and to celebrate a great year!!  If you have any questions, please contact Coach Bergeron at tlbergeron@greenbush.k12.mn.us

There is a track sign up sheet on the bulletin board.  Tentative starting date for varsity track practice is March 16th.

Spring sport athletes should start paying their sport fees and turn in eligibility forms and get a physical if needed.  Check with Cheryl if you have questions.

There is a softball scrimmage in St. Cloud on March 14 starting at 9:30 a.m.  Our 1st game is at 5:00 p.m.

Official softball practice starts on March 9th.  We will be in Greenbush with practice starting at 5:45 a.m.

ELEMENTARY:
4-H Exploring Adventure!  All youth in grades K-6 are invited to come to a fun filled morning exploring various 4-H projects. You will learn hands on about the 4-H projects of Art, Engineering Design, Agriculture, and Shooting Sports and Wildlife!
When:  Saturday, February 28, 2015—10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Messiah Church, Roseau, MN.  Cost $10.00. Contact the Roseau County Extension/4-H Office at 218-463-1052 for more information.

SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION:
We are offering a $1,000 scholarship to eligible high school seniors. The College Sports Recruiting Scholarship will be awarded to 1-5 winners each year.
