NOTICE TO BGMR SPORTS FANS…For the most up-to-date schedule of sporting events check out the Gator Athletic Schedules on the GMR School website.  You can also sign up to be notified of any sport changes.  

The Middle River Elementary Fall Concert is today at 2:00.

The Gator Wrestling team is taking orders for a Gator Wrestling jacket.  Order forms are available in the office. The cost is $50.00 and orders are due October 31st to Mr. Mack.  (Make checks payable to 3xGear)

Gator wrestling orders for Nelson Ink will be due November 4th.  Please turn your orders into the office in Badger, Greenbush or Middle River.
 
Get your Pies for the Holidays and support the Gator Wrestling Team!!!!
Pies for Thanksgiving and Christmas can be ordered by contacting one of the Wrestlers, Managers or Cheerleaders. Orders are due November 4th and the pies will be delivered on November 19th.  Turn your orders into the Badger or Greenbush school offices. The Sports Trainer will be here on Tuesday’s.   Sign up in the office if you need to see her.  We will post the schedule on the bulletin board and give you a pass on Tuesday morning.  “YOU” will be responsible for checking your time and coming to your appt.

STOP…Prevention of Domestic and Sexual Violence:  The Role of Community and Culture in Ending Violence by Chuck Derry, Gender Violence Institute, will be held on Thursday, October 30th at 10:00 a.m. at NCTC in TRF in the Gunderson Commons.

Ping Pong Retakes will be held on Thursday, October 23rd about 10:30 a.m.  Please contact the office if you plan on taking retakes.  There is a $5.00 fee and you also need to return your packet.

The BGMR Elementary Basketball program is seeking a 4th Grade Girls coach for the 2014-2015 season. Commitment time is December-February – two nights a week and tournaments.  If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Kara Nelson at kara@dkfarms.com or 782-3580.

Work meeting (optional) Wednesday, October 22 after school at high school art room. We will be finishing up those Halloween crafts. 

MATH LEAGUE:
Practices on Monday's after school and Thursday's before school.  The first meet is November 3rd in Bemidji.

Math Contest on October 28th.  
Those going to Bemidji for the Math Contest are: O’Brien Stromsodt, Jolene Nelson, Hannah Anderson, Abbie Brockhouse, Emily Wicklund, Ben Besser, Josee Locken, John Langaas, Joe Hlucny, Chase Anderson, Brady Kilen, Callahan Stewart, Luke Nelson, Derek Nelson.  Leaving at 8am and returning around 3pm.  

9TH GRADE:
Drivers Ed will be starting today at 4:00 (note time change) in Mr. Janicke’s room.  Those who still need to pay are Emily B, Jonathan P, and Kristy W.

JUNIORS:
You are eligible to apply for the Minnesota House of Representatives Page Program.  If accepted, you will be working at the Capitol for one week for the House of Representatives.  Go to:  www.house.leg.state.mn.us/edprog/app.pdf and talk to Mrs. Lieberg.  Deadline for applications is November 21!

SPORTS:
Gator Volleyball:  The bus will leave Saturday, October 25, at 10:15 from Badger, 10:30 from Greenbush, and 10:50 from Middle River to attend the Northland vs Rainy River match in Thief River and return following the match.

Girls in grades 2-12 who participated in summer softball, we are missing uniforms numbers 3, 24 and 25.  If you them please turn in ASAP to Mr. Christian.

Attention Wrestlers:
Mr. Bergeron will be meeting today at 2:30 in MR for a mandatory wrestling meeting for the wrestlers, managers and cheerleaders. We will discuss the upcoming year, pass out order forms and discuss our fundraiser for the year.

Activities for today:
JV volleyball at Karlstad Heritage, 5:00.  Ride the shuttles to GB and then the mini bus will leave GB at 4:00.
Football at Lake Park/Audubon, 6:00.   The bus will leave Badger at 12:45, GB at 1:00 (excuse at 12:50) and MR at 1:30.

Activities for Thursday:
Volleyball Play In game at Win-E-Mac, 7:00.

Middle School Drama Schedule:
This week…practice in the music room.

ELEMENTARY:
