The Spelling Bee is today at 2:00 at the Middle River Campus in the Music Room. Come and enjoy the excitement!

Incomplete grades for Quarter 2 are due on Monday, February 9th.  If you would like a new report card after your Incomplete is made up, see Cheryl.

Pizza Corner pizzas will be in on Tuesday at 3:00.  Students must have someone here to pick them up or make prior arrangements.

NOTICE TO STUDENTS:  If anyone has any “school oriented” pictures that they would like in the yearbook, please email them to Shania Strand at ststrand@middleriver.k12.mn.us.  Please get her any “fall” pictures by today and “winter” pictures by the end of February.  Thank you!

NOTICE TO BGMR SPORTS FANS…For the most up-to-date schedule of sporting events check out the Gator Athletic Schedules on the GMR School website.  You can also sign up to be notified of any sport changes.  

The Sports Trainer will be here on Tuesday’s.   Sign up in the office if you need to see her.  We will post the schedule on the bulletin board and give you a pass on Tuesday morning.  “YOU” will be responsible for checking your time and coming to your appt.

The Greenbush-Middle River School announces its 2015 Swamp Night at the Gator Boys Basketball game on Tuesday, February 3 vs. the Warroad Warriors.
This year’s Swamp Night recognizes the Save Our Area Pool fund with a GMR Pool Party! Our youth have enjoyed the swimming pool for many years as part of summer fun and swimming lessons.  Major repairs were needed on the pool in order to keep it running.  Plans for repair are under way, and now the GMR school is doing its part to help the SOAP committee!

Junior and Senior parents… there will be an After Prom Party meeting at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4th at the Greenbush school library.

All LYO kids should be at church at 8:00 a.m. on Sunday morning to assemble subs.

Students in grades 7-12 that are interested in joining the Gator Busters Clay Target League, please sign up on the bulletin board by the office.  The parent/student sign up day will be Wednesday, February 11th at 5:30pm in Mr. Mack's room in the Greenbush/Middle River School, Greenbush.  This will be a must attend parent/ student meeting.

Wrestling at Larimore tourney.  The bus will leave Badger at 5:00, GB at 5:15 and MR at 5:45.
7/8 GBB at Roseau tourney, 9:00.  The bus will leave MR at 7:30, GB at 8:00 and Badger at 8:15.
9th GBB at Win-E-Mac tourney, 9:00.  The bus will leave Badger at 6:45, GB at 7:00 and MR at 7:20.

Activities for Monday:
GBB at Grygla.  The 7/8/9/JV/V will play at 4:45/6:00/4:45/6:00/V.  (KTRF will be broadcasting).  The bus will leave Badger at 2:45, GB at 3:00 (excuse at 2:50) and MR at 3:30.  2nd bus leaves GB at 4:00 and MR at 4:30.
BBB vs WAO.  The JV/V will play at 6:00/V.  (Dance at ½ JV and V)

Activities for Tuesday:
BBB vs Warroad.  The 7/8 will play in Badger at 5:00/6:00.  The JV/V will play in GB at 6:00/V.  (SWAMP Night; supper; Pep Band will play; Little Dribblers at ½ JV)

ELEMENTARY:
“Smoke-Free For a Healthy Me” poster and coloring contest are due in the principal’s office today.  Elementary teachers have the contest guidelines and posters.  Winners will be notified by Friday, February 6th.  Gift cards from local businesses in our community will be awarded.

Little Dribblers will be back in action this February during halftime at several home contests.  Information has been given to students in grades 1-3 and is available on Stacy Dahl's school webpage.  The first and only practice is January 31 from 11-12 so we can practice dribbling and halftime procedure.   Please make every effort to attend.  Let's get our hands on a ball and learn the basics of ball handling!  Gooooo Gators!
