The Northwest Minnesota Art Council's Art Exhibit is now open at the American Legion in Middle River. Please plan to attend! It will run through April 27, 2014; noon-6:00 pm daily. FREE ADMISSION. An Artist Reception will be held on Sunday, April 27th from 1:30-3:30 pm.  Ms. KayDell Super will be there accepting her Art Advocate of the Year Award. The GB Area Community Education and General Community Funds are requesting grant applications.  Forms are available in the office.  They must be postmarked no later than April 30, 2014.

Gun Training class will be on Thursday from 3:45-6:00 at the GB Trap Club.

 The Enger Dance Studio recital will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Thursday April 24th at the Roseau school auditorium and on Friday April 25th in the Badger gym. Both performances are open to the public. 

JOB OPPORTUNITY:  Food Service Aide at the GB Manor.  LifeCare GB Manor has part-time positions available in the Food Service Department.  The hours are from 4:00-8:00 p.m. including every other weekend.  Contact LifeCare to apply.

A key was found by the elementary (pool area).  Claim in the office.

MUSIC:
Chamber Singers will rehearse on Tuesday’s and Friday’s at 11:45.  You are excused at 11:30 to go eat before rehearsal.
Jazz Band will rehearse on Wednesday’s and Thursday’s at 11:45.  You are excused at 11:30 to go eat before rehearsal.

JUNIORS:
Juniors – you are providing the drinks for the After Prom Party!  Girls, bring a dozen bottles of water.  Boys, bring a dozen sports drinks (Gatorade or Powerade) or pop – NO energy drinks!  Bring them in to the office or to Roxane Kirkeide anytime between now and this Friday, April 25th – thank you!

Junior parents…please remember to sign up for either the set-up or clean-up for the Prom meal with Cheryl or Mary Anderson asap.  Thank you to those who have already done so!!

**PROM NEWS**After Prom Party goers – Remember to bring in your $30 registration fee per person attending if you want to be included in the awesome prize drawings!!  Bring to the office ASAP!!

Post Prom Party meeting tonight!!!  Junior parents especially, please attend!!  We will be finalizing things for the party at the meeting tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the library.

Seniors and Parents:  Check out a link on Mrs. Lieberg's Website under the "Financial Aid" tab.  It is an article on how to "decode" financial aid, and it is written in easy to understand language.

SPORTS:
Greenbush Summer Rec Baseball registration forms are available in the office.   All registrations and payments are due by May 9th.  If you have questions, contact Teresa Hlucny at 218-689-4761.

Those interested in the Star Shooter camp on June 9th should see Mr. Christian or get their form in ASAP.  Camp is from 8:30-Noon for Grades 8-12 and 1:00-4:30 for Grades 5-7 (next year’s grade).  Space is limited.  We have about 12 spots left open for the older level and about 30 spots left open for the younger group.
 
Summer softball sign-ups are due April 30th.  No late registrations will be taken.
 
Boys basketball players.  So far we have tournaments lined up for June 13th (Bemidji), June 18-20th (Mayville), June 26th (Moorhead) and July 10th NCTC.  There also may be one additional tournament.  If interested contact Coach Christian and let him know which ones you are interested in. There may be a small fee depending on how many guys sign up and how many teams we put together.

Gator Volleyball:  MVI Team Camp brochures are here.  Please pick up with Coach Dahl or in the GB, MR, and Badger school offices.  All registration, waiver, release and payment information is on the brochure.  Please mail directly to MVI by May 15 to receive the $165 fee.  After May 15, camp costs $175. 

The BGMR Softball Club will be hosting the Scotts Pitch, Hit and Run Competition on Tuesday, April 29th.  It will be held on Field 3 behind the school in GB starting at 3:30.  Pitch, Hit and Run is open to boys and girls ages 7-14 (age as f July 17 2014).  Those who attend school at the GB campus do not need to attend as they will be doing the competition in PE class.

The deadline for the new baseball order is next Monday, April 28th.  All ordering is done online at http://eFlyerOrder.com/GATORBB

Each Wednesday this week through May 28th the Gator Clay Busters will be scoring their competition shoots at the Greenbush Trap Club.  Today is Competition Week #1.

There will be a football meeting for those in grades 9-11 who plan on playing football next fall.  It will be at 10:50 on Thursday in Mr. Christian’s room.

Baseball at Ada, 4:30. (V/JV).  The bus will leave Badger at 1:00, GB at 1:15 (excuse at 1:05).

Activities for Friday:
Baseball vs NCE.  The varsity will play at 4:30 in GB followed by the JV.  The JH will play at 4:30 in MR.
JH track at LOW, 4:00.  Those going are Savannah K, Greta N, Jordyn D, Kenzie K and Shantelle G.
Varsity girls golf at Bemidji, 9:00.
JH golf at Roseau, 1:00.

Activities for Saturday:
Softball Coach’s Classis at GB, 11:00.
JH softball tourney at TRF, 10:00.  The bus will leave Badger at 7:45, GB at 8:00 and MR at 8:30.
JH baseball tourney at Sacred Heart.  The bus will leave Badger at 7:15, GB at 7:30 and MR at 8:00.

ELEMENTARY:
