Come and support our GATOR BBB team this Friday vs the Northern Freeze! There will be a “Baked Potato Feed” with a baked potato w/fixings, a bar and pop for $5.00. Serving will be from 4:30-7:30 p.m. It is also Autograph Night so remember those pens/markers and get the autograph of your favorite BBB players!
The 6th Grade class will be holding a Raffle tonight at the GBB game. Buy chances to win some cool stuff! Thanks for supporting the 6th Grade Class trip!
3rd Annual Swamp Night: The third annual Swamp Night will be held on Thursday, February 25 at the Girls Basketball Game vs. the Roseau Rams. This year the Gators are honoring residents at the local nursing home: LifeCare – Greenbush Manor. Residents will be introduced during the starting line-up, and we will be raising funds for their new community and fitness room at the new facility. T-shirts for Swamp Night are available for order in the offices. They are $8, and they must be paid for at the time of order. Please wear your Swamp Night T-shirts to the Swamp on Thursday, February 25 as we honor some very special people in our communities!
Material for the snowmobile safety course has been ordered. Information will be given out as soon as it is set up.
Order your 2010 yearbooks now! Stop by the office to buy one - $35 for each book, $40 for a personalized book!
7th and 8th graders involved in extra curricular activities that need the late bus home need to sign the sheet on Nancy’s door by noon daily. If using the late bus to your house, a $25.00 fee per sports season needs to be paid before riding.

North Valley Public Health will hold H1N1 flu vaccination walk-in clinic's in Warren at the North Valley Public Health Office every Monday in February 2010 from 2-4pm. Please enter through the South Door.
The vaccination is recommended for person's 6 months of age and older including the 2nd dose for ages 9 and under.
LifeCare Public Health will hold public H1N1 clinics in February. H1N1 shots and H1N1 Flu Mist are both available and free of charge. These clinics are open to anyone 6 months and older.
Feb. 17th and 24th from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Greenbush Nursing Home Sunroom-located at the upper level of the nursing home; use the clinic entrance door; take the steps up to the Sunroom.
Feb. 10th, 17th and 24th from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the home care office located at LifeCare Medical Center .
First Lutheran Church in Middle River is having a “Family Fun Night” on Wednesday, February 10 at 7:00. Pizza will be served, followed by crafts and family activities. The activities will be designed primarily for students up through 6th grade, but all ages are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Congratulations to Peter Wollin for being named the Sub Section Triple A winner! He now advances to Section competition and will be honored at a luncheon tomorrow where the winner will be announced.

10th graders will be having careers today and Friday this week. Students are to report to their homerooms on Wednesday and Thursday.
Mr. Mack’s Block 4 students will be touring Polaris on Wednesday. Meet in Mr. Mack’s room at 12:15 and then the bus will leave at 12:20. You will return by 3:00.

DETENTION: A list of who has detention and where it will be is posted on the bulletin board. Notices are also mailed to you. Reminder - you are to rearrange your life if it interferes with your scheduled detention time!

There will be KB practice on Tuesday’s and Thursday’s. (No meet this week.)
ART CLUB:
Our monthly meeting this week will consist of Candy Gram assembling! Not Candy Gram our wonderful paraprofessional (she’s still in one piece as far as I know) but all the lovely candy grams our students, parents and teachers have ordered for their sweet, sweet loved ones. LOVE IS IN THE AIR AND WE’RE HERE TO DELIVER! Benita Novacek is on for treats.

Your graduation orders are here except for your tassels which will be arriving shortly. Pick up a payment sheet from Cheryl (payment is due February 26th) and must be paid for before you can pick them up.

The sports trainer will be here next Wednesday, February 17th since we don’t have school on Monday.
